December 17, 2021 - East Texas Communities Foundation is on track to achieve their highest granting year on record by awarding more than $17 million to over 700 different nonprofit organizations.

May 11, 2021 - East Texas Communities Foundation has named Center High School (CHS) graduates Baileigh Barrera, Angel Garcia and Kristen Orsak as recipients of the John Harris Scholarship.
Miss Barrera plans to attend Stephen F. Austin State University in the fall focusing on a career in accounting. Miss Barrera was active in volleyball, softball, National Honor Society and was a member of the yearbook staff as a student at Center High School.
April 28, 2021 - Nonprofits in East Texas benefited from the generosity of more than 5,838 donors during East Texas Giving Day, the region’s recognized day of giving to support local nonprofits.
The online fundraising effort began at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27th, and ended at midnight. Based on preliminary results, donors contributed $2,790,533 to support the causes they care about in 32 East Texas counties.
December 17, 2020 - East Texas Communities Foundation is currently accepting applications from East Texas students for seventy-seven scholarships to be awarded for the 2021-2022 academic year. To assist applicants determine which scholarships they are most likely eligible for, ETCF has provided a time-saving matching tool. All scholarship hopefuls should use the General Matching Tool while students majoring in visual arts, art history, music, music education, theater, or dance should also use the Arts Matching Tool.

June 9, 2020 - East Texas Communities Foundation (ETCF) awarded $294,000 in scholarships to high school and college students from East Texas for the 2020-21 school year. Scholarship amounts range from $500-$5,000 per student originating from 70 different scholarship funds at ETCF.
