July 30, 2015 AUSTIN, Texas – When disasters such as the May 4 through June 19 storms and floods strike, farmers and ranchers have options for help.
Farmers and ranchers affected by the May 4 to June 19 storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds may be eligible for assistance from several agencies and should apply today.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) may assist survivors who are farmers and ranchers with some immediate needs including:
July 23, 2015 - The Federal Emergency Management Agency provides two main types of assistance following natural disasters, such as the Texas storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds and flooding that occurred May 4 through June 19.
Individual Assistance is provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to individuals and families who have sustained losses due to disasters.
Shelby County Included in New List of Counties Designated for Individual Assistance
July 21, 2015 - The federal disaster declaration for Texas has been expanded to include Individual Assistance for four additional counties as a result of the severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds and flooding that occurred between May 4 and June 19 according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
