January 17, 2022 - Mark Williams for State Representative, District 11, is sponsoring a town hall at the Timpson Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 12 noon until 2pm. Local Shelby County candidates are invited to speak.
My name is Todd Jamison. I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for Shelby County Commissioner Pct 2. I am a lifelong Shelby County resident, all of it living within Pct 2, and a 1979 graduate of Shelbyville High School.
I am Donna Hughes, Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, Shelby County, and I am seeking re-election. I have worked in the JP office since March 2018 as Justice Court Clerk, and was sworn in as Justice of the Peace in January 2020.
March 10, 2020 - My name is Newton Johnson, Jr. I am seeking election for Sheriff of Shelby County on the Republican ticket for the 2020 Primary Run-off Election July 14, 2020.
February 19, 2020 - I am Willis Blackwell, currently your Shelby County Sheriff. As I prepare to retire from 45+ years of law enforcement, I would love to continue my service to the citizens of Shelby County as Commissioner of Precinct 3. The word “retire” is simply a figure of speech.
February 14, 2020 - Citizens of Shelby County, my name is Stevie Smith and I am a Republican candidate running for Commissioner in Shelby County, Precinct 3. I am asking for your vote in the upcoming election on March 3.
May 18, 2018 - I’m Bradley Allen, Shelby County Commissioner for Precinct 4. I am coming to you, again to ask for your support and vote in the Republican run-off election on May 22. Please note that the poll location for Timpson North and Timpson South will be the Timpson Public Library. This is a change for this election only. The Republican Party chairman, Leigh Porterfield decided to combine the polling places in Timpson for this run-off election. The polling locations will remain the same for the rest of Precinct 4 as well as the rest of the County.
March 16, 2018 - I would like to thank the voters of Shelby County Pct. 4 that came to the polls on March 6th and supported me in my bid to become your Commissioner. The results have mandated a primary runoff between myself and the incumbent three term Commissioner.
I would especially like to thank the other two challengers in the March 6th election, Bo Todd and Kevin Foster. They campaigned with dignity and conducted themselves as gentlemen. Thank you, to you both!
