September 19, 2019 - In their first match back at Arthur Johnson Gymnasium, the Panola College Fillies took down Brookhaven College in three sets (25-9, 25-13, 25-12).
Sophomore outside hitter Mikayla Ware hammered home with 19 kills, followed by Nyah Walker with seven and Mylena Testoni chipped in five. Maria Idjilov dished out 29 assists. The The Fillies defense was led by Hannah Floyd and Idjilov who contributed 11 digs apiece, respectively. Riley Seegers and Walker were forces at the net with four block assists apiece.
September 18, 2019 - With an aggressive offense and united defense, the Panola College Fillies defeated Cedar Valley Tuesday night in Lancaster in three sets (25-15, 25-7, 25-14).
September 16, 2019 - After a tough loss to Odessa, the Panola College Fillies bounced back this weekend to pick up three wins against Allen, Mountain View, and Victoria College.
Odessa came out strong giving Panola their only loss at the Lee College Invitational Tournament (18-25, 13-25, 25-27). For the Fillies, Mikayla Ware led with eight kills, Mylena Testoni added seven, and Nyah Walker chipped in five. Setter Maria Idjilov dished out 24 assists. Defensively, Hannah Floyd led with 24 digs, Ware followed with 13 and Idjilov added nine of her own.
September 11, 2019 - Panola College Volleyball improved to 5-2 overall after a two-stop trip to Dallas with a 4-set win over Brookhaven College (22-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-18) and a sweep of North Lake College (25-13, 25-13, 25-9).
September 4, 2019 - The Panola College Fillies fell short on Tuesday to Temple in a close five set match (25-21, 23-25, 25-12, 18-25, 13-15).
Offensively, Mikayla Ware led with 17 kills, while Mylena Testoni and Nyah Walker followed with 10 each. Maria Idjilov dished out 47 assists for the night.
At the net, April Brown and Idjilov chipped in two block assists. Libero Hannah Floyd and Ware led the defense with 18 digs a piece, while Idjilov followed with 14.
August 27, 2019 - The Texas Educational Theatre Association, Inc. has announced Karen King as the recipient of the 2019 Founders Award. King came to Panola College in 2013 as professor of drama and director of the theatre department.
August 26, 2019 - The Fillies competed in the Rose City Classic Invitational Tournament this weekend at Tyler Junior College. Panola played Temple & NCTC on Friday and Frank Phillips & #7 Polk State on Saturday. On Friday, Panola swept Temple in the season opener with a slow start, only beating Temple by two points. With the leadership of sophomore outside hitter Mikayla Ware and freshman outside hitter Mylena Testoni, who added 12 kills and two aces respectively a piece, the Fillies were able to take the last two sets with ease winning 26-24, 25-15, 25-12.
August 23, 2019 - Evan Yount of Jacksonville has attained the American Degree with the National FFA Organization, formerly Future Farmers of America. Yount graduated from Panola College with an associate degree in December 2018 and is now a junior at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
