Panola College will Host the Panola Baseball Camp

June 1, 2017 - Panola College will host a Baseball Camp for ages 5-12 on June 5-7, 2017. The camp will be held at the Jim Reeves Memorial Field at the City Baseball Complex on the loop in Carthage, Tx.

The camp times is 9am to 12 noon and includes: fundamental skills of fielding, baserunning, throwing, and hitting.

Facilities used consist of a full collegiate field, covered batting cages, and a complete indoor facility in case of inclement weather.

Panola College Announces Dean's List

May 23, 2017 - Panola College is proud to announce the names of those students named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester. To qualify a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

Panola College Honors Retirees

May 5, 2017 - On Monday, May 1, 2017 Panola College held a retirement ceremony to honor five longtime employees Mrs. Karen McClellan, Dr. Barbara Cordell, Mr. Freddy Mason, Mrs. Ann Boland, and Ms. Becky Gullette. Together these retirees accumulated 110 years of experience. Dr. Greg Powell, President of Panola College, presented each retiree with a token of appreciation and thanked them for their many years of dedicated service.

Panola Women's Basketball: Watson Signs with Wiley College

May 4, 2017 -  Sophomore Captain Denasia Watson signed her letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Wiley College.

Watson was the most efficiant player for the Fillies this year. She was the vocal leader for the team and a key instrument in the success on and off the court.

"I am beyond proud of the work this young lady has done these few years at Panola" stated Head Coach Eddie Kite. He added "she has really improved and I look forward to her continued success at the next level".
