May 23, 2017 - Panola College is proud to announce the names of those students named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester. To qualify a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

May 19, 2017 - Panola College has announced the appointment of Mrs. Cancee Lester to serve as the Director of Shelby County Operations. Mrs. Lester will assume the position on July 5, 2017.

May 5, 2017 - On Monday, May 1, 2017 Panola College held a retirement ceremony to honor five longtime employees Mrs. Karen McClellan, Dr. Barbara Cordell, Mr. Freddy Mason, Mrs. Ann Boland, and Ms. Becky Gullette. Together these retirees accumulated 110 years of experience. Dr. Greg Powell, President of Panola College, presented each retiree with a token of appreciation and thanked them for their many years of dedicated service.

May 3, 2017 - The Panola College baseball team is ranked #10 in the NJCAA Polls and #2 in the state of Texas in TSRN Polls.  The Ponies boast a regular season record of 41-10 and tied for first place with Navarro College at 19-8 in conference.  Panola and Navarro will square off in a three game series this Thursday and Saturday to decide the conference championship and a number one seed going into a the Region-14 tournament. Game time for Thursday in Corsicana is 3pm.  Game times for Saturday's double header in Carthage is 2pm and 4pm. So come out and support the Ponies.
