Panola Rodeo Team Scores Valuable Points in Hillsboro

March 31, 2017 - The Panola College Rodeo Team was in Hillsboro March 23rd-25th, for the 9th Southern Region Rodeo. The Women’s and Men’s team both had team members that scored valuable points for the Ponies.

Panola Baseball #8 in NJCAA Polls

March 29, 2017 CARTHAGE, Tx. – The Panola College baseball program moves up this week in the national rankings to #8. Rising four spots from the last Tuesday’s rankings at #12, The Ponies went 4-0 last week and improved to 28-5 on the season and 9-3 in conference. The Ponies will be at home Thursday, April 1st for game one of a three game conference series with Navarro College beginning at 1pm.

Panola College to Honor Academic Excellence Students

March 29, 2017 - Panola College will honor 20 students with Academic Excellence Awards in a ceremony at 3 p.m., Monday, April 10 in the Q.M. Martin Auditorium. Dr. Barbara Cordell, Dean of Health Sciences and Associate Degree Nursing Program Chair, will speak, and the Chamber Singers, led by Sandra Bauer, Vocal Music Professor, will perform prior to the awards ceremony.

Panola College Offers Zumba Gold, Yoga

March 22, 2017 - Zumba
Panola College/Shelby College Center is offering Zumba ®Gold. This class takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the older participant.

The class will meet Monday and Wednesday: April 10- May 17, from 4:00pm - 5:00 pm, at the Shelby College Center. The cost of the class is $45, and pre-registration is required.
