May 2, 2023 - The Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRA) was pleased to partner with Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas B.A.S.S. Nation to construct and deploy one hundred fish habitat structures placed into Toledo Bend Reservoir. These artificial habitat structures have been scientifically studied and proven to be effective at attracting large numbers of fish. The goal of this project is to provide opportunities for successful fishing trips for the public when visiting Toledo Bend Reservoir. The habitat structures can be located at the GPS coordinates listed below:
April 18, 2022 - The Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRA) is seeking bids for the purchase of rip rap in four proposed locations on the Texas side of Toledo Bend. Sealed bids are to be received in the office of the Division Manager, Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRA) Toledo Bend Division Office at 450 Spur 135 Burkeville, TX, 75932 for response to this request for bid, until 2pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Bids will, immediately thereafter, be publicly opened and read aloud.
November 8, 2019 Pineland, TX - The Sabine River Authority of Texas (SRA) was pleased to award the City of Pineland (City) a Community Assistance Program Grant on November 1st, as part of SRA's Fiscal Year 2020 Economic Development Initiative.
