December 1, 2022 - The James Antioch Community will have their Christmas meeting on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 5:30PM. We plan to meet and have Christmas snacks brought by members and then do a gift exchange using the Chinese method of distributing the gifts. Everyone needs to bring a $10 gift marked man or woman. We mostly have lots of fun settling for the gift that we most want so we hope many of our neighbors will come and join us. This is a different time than usual but we meet at the same place - in the James Antioch Community building.
October 20, 2015 - The Golden Harvest Ministries Club met on Oct, 19, 2015 in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church . Joe Anderson gave the opening prayer and welcomed everyone. Alice West had two visitors with her, Ronny and Connie West. Harold Hanson, back from a good trip, led the singing while Alice West played the piano. We sang “Heaven came down and Glory filled my Soul” and “What a Friend we have in Jesus.” Vance Green and Mary Ivy both had a birthday this month and we sang Happy Birthday to them. October 20, 2015 - Mike and I are members of the Toledo Bend Chapter of the Texas Lone Star Dutch Oven Society which is part of the National Dutch Oven Organization. We meet the 3rd Sat of each month (except, June, July, August, and Dec) beginning at 9:00 AM with the pots on the table at noon at Boles Field in the Sabine National Forest. We welcome visitors to come and learn more about Dutch Oven cooking and share the food, fun, and fellowship.
