April 23, 2019 - The Lady Dragons will play Wednesday, April 24 at Huntington HS vs Groveton at 6pm; Game 2 will be played at Huntington on Thursday, April 25 at 7:30 pm; Game 3 if necessary will be played in Palestine on Friday, April 26 at 7pm.
April 16, 2019 - Parents of students living outside the Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2019-2020 school year must request transfer no later than May 30, 2019
This applies to both old and new transfer students. New transfers who are approved will be required to pay tuition to attend.

April 10, 2019 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group from the Huxley Community is holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County. I.D.& proof of residency is required. You will not receive a box if you do not bring photo ID.
Only one (1) box per household it will be held this Saturday, April 13, 2019.
Sign-in starts at 9am until food is gone at Hillcrest Baptist Church 901 Southview Circle Center Texas.
April 5, 2019 - The 2A State Basketball State Champion Shelbyville Dragons were acknowledged at the Texas House and Texas Senate in Austin on April 4, 2019. The Dragons met with Representative Chris Paddie and Senator Robert Nichols and presented them with a Gold medal. To cap off their trip, the Dragons toured the TX Longhorn Basketball facilities and were given the opportunity to utilize the facility.
