January 29, 2016 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. — More than 2.5 million families have positively changed their financial future through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU). The nine-week course provides families and individuals with practical tools to gain control of their finances and set themselves up for long-term financial success. The course meets once a week where a different lesson is taught by Dave on DVD followed by a small-group discussion. Lessons include budgeting, relationships and money, getting out of debt, saving for emergencies and investing.

August 5, 2015 - Joaquin ISD has scheduled substitute orientation for Monday, August 17th at 10:00 a.m. at the Joaquin High School Auditorium. Notice that the time has been changed to 10:00 a.m.

April 28, 2015 - Joaquin Elementary School and Joaquin Jr. High School students recently participated in the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program PASTA FOR PENNIES. The elementary students collected $2,230.41 and the junior high students $549.71 for a grand total of $2,780.12. This money will help find a cure for blood cancers and help families with their expenses. Mrs. Rondalyn Neal's second grade class had the highest total collected at the elementary school of $296.05. The eighth grade students collected the most at the junior high with $206.68.
