February 3, 2022 - Tenaha ISD will delay start school Friday, February 4 due to pending inclement weather.

Students report at 10am.
Teachers report at 9:30am.

Tenaha Elementary Grandparents' Day

August 29, 2016 - In honor of Grandparents' Day, Tenaha Elementary will host Doughnuts and Juice with Grandparents Friday, September 9th from 7:30 - 8:00 AM. For grades Kinder to 3rd, grandparents are invited to enjoy breakfast with their grandchildren and then walk them to class.

Tenaha ES Meet the Teacher Aug 18th

August 9, 2016 - Tenaha Elementary School is hosting Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 18th from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. Students may bring school supplies to leave in classroom.

Tenaha ISD Students Celebrate Completion of the Summer Language Program

June 24, 2016 - Tenaha ISD just completed the Summer Language Program for students who will be entering Kindergarten and First grades next school year. Students celebrated their hard work with a day at the park!

Tree House Bully Program Visits Tenaha Elementary School

May 13, 2016 - Tenaha Elementary students in PK - 5th grades participated in the Tree House Bully Program presented by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council (ADAC). Students were encouraged to say no to drugs and discussed how to handle bulllies throughout life.

May 13, 2016 - Tenaha Elementary 3rd grade students enjoyed a field trip on Thursday, May 12th to the Texas State Railroad in Rusk, Texas.

May 4, 2016 - Tenaha Elementary Robotics Team participated in a robotics celebration Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Kilgore, TX. The team received the "Peer Choice" award for their project!. Thanks to Mrs. Stacie Barr and Mrs. Cindy Hughes for all of their hard work with this great group of students.
