1st grade students at Tenaha Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school with a balloon release and many other classroom activities centered around the number 100!!!
December 17, 2015 - Tenaha Elementary 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students participated in a fun day of activities centered around the children's book Polar Express on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
December 1, 2015 - Kindergarteners at Tenaha Elementary school had a special package delivered on Tuesday, December 1st. It contained the Elf on the Shelf Book and contained an Elf whom the students named Ralphie. He will be looking for students who are kind and make good choices while at school between now and Christmas break!
November 19, 2015 - Tenaha Elementary 1st graders learned about Thanksgiving and enjoyed a feast. Students wore pilgrim and indian costumes as part of the Thanksgiving Feast.
November 19, 2015 - 3rd grade students from Tenaha Elementary celebrated with a Thanksgiving Feast! The students enjoyed turkey, english peas, corn, dressing and cranberries, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a roll. Enjoying the feast with the students was Tenaha ISD Police Chief David Jeter.
November 19, 2015 - Tenaha Elementary 1st grade students participated in the "Fantastic Teeth" program that is sponsored by the Tenaha Masonic Lodge.
Members of the organization brought dental care kits and distributed them to each student in 1st grade and discussed with them the importance of dental hygiene.
November 19, 2015 - Kindergarden students from Tenaha Elementary enjoyed a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Students were dressed as pilgrims and indians to add to the festivities!
November 17, 2015 - Tenaha Elementary students from Mrs. Janice Willliams' 4th grade science classroom had fun creating static electricity! May students can be seen using a balloon to move a ping pong ball as well as defying gravity when the balloons clings to hair and clothing.
