May 6, 2026 - Shelbyville Dragons are set to compete in baseball playoffs

April 23, 2026 - Sergio Reyes, a junior at Shelbyville ISD, competed at the State Powerlifting Meet - Division 4 on March 27th in Abilene, Texas.

Sergio placed 11th in the 181 lb weight class. He beat his personal best in the Bench Press of 330lbs. He squatted 515 lbs and dead lifted 485 lbs. His total at the State meet was 1,330 lbs.

March 12, 2026 - The Shelbyville Powerlifting team competed at the Boys Region 3 Division 4 Regional Powerlifting Meet held on Thursday, March 5th, at the Arp High School in Arp, Texas and has two lifters to medal with one advancing to the State Meet.

March 6, 2026 - The Shelbyville Golf team traveled to Waskom and competed at Crooked Hollow on Monday, March 2nd.

Out of the girls' team, Addison Lloyd (Senior) earned 3rd place with a score of 96.
