October 23, 2017 - On October 12 some of the Shelbyville Spanish Classes put on a living museum for the elementary students of S.W. Carter Elementary.

September 6, 2017 - The Shelbyville yearbook is selling out yearbooks for $10. The inventory is as followed: 1973 (5 books), 1978 (2 books), 1984 (2 books), 1991 (1 book), 1993 (1 book), 1999 (2 books), 2000 (16 books), 2003 (8 books), 2005 (4 books), 2006 (28 books), 2011 (22 books), 2013 (23 books), 2014 (23 books), and 2015 (65 books).

April 7, 2017 - The Shelbyville Yearbook is currently selling shirts with the 2016-2017 yearbook cover on the front and Dragons Est. 1903 on the back. They are $15 and the money is due on April 28th.

February 16, 2017 - The Shelbyville Yearbook staff would like to announce that they have a facebook page called "The Dragon- Shelbyville ISD yearbook" where they will be posting pictures that they take around the school and sneak peeks of the upcoming 2017 yearbook.
