Tri-County Head Start Now Accepting Applications

August 13, 2020 - Tri-County Head Start is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Children 6 weeks to 5 years old are accepted. You will need your child's birth certificate, insurance card, Immunization record, WIC card (If applicable), and proof of income (tax return, W2, check stubs, SSI/SSD award letters, etc) for the past 12 months to do an application. 

An application Pick UP box has been set up at Old Elementary School 214 Nacogdoches Street Center, TX 75935 at the Family Advocate Office Entrance.

Tri-C Head Start Taking Applications Now

May 18, 2020 - Tri-C Headstart is taking applications for the 2020-2021 program year. An application Pick UP box has been set up at Old Elementary School, 214 Nacogdoches Street, Center, TX 75935 at the Family Advocate Office Entrance.

Applications can be picked up starting, May 11, 2020, 8am until 4pm and can be returned on Tuesdays starting May 19, 2020 8am to 3pm, along with a COPY OF ALL the required documents.

Tri-County Accepting Applications for 2020-2021 School Year

March 5, 2020 - Tri County is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year. Children 6 weeks to 5 years old are accepted.

You will need your child's:

  • birth certificate
  • insurance card
  • immunization record
  • WIC card (If applicable)
  • proof of income (tax return, W2, check stubs, SSI/SSD award letters, etc) for the past 12 months.

Head Start Has Spots Available for Children 3-5

December 9, 2019 - Tri-County Community Head Start has spots available for 3, 4 and 5 years old children. We are located in the Old Elementary School at 214 Nacogdoches Steet in Center, TX. For information or to set up an appointment to complete an application, call Saundra at (936) 657-4740. To complete an application you will need: Child's insurance card, WIC card, Shot record, birth certificate and proof of income for the past 12 months. Examples for income records includes check stubs, award letter, tax return, etc.

Tri-County Head Start’s Annual Resource Fair/Fall Festival

October 24, 2019 - The entire Shelby County community is invited to participate in Tri-County Head Start’s annual Resource Fair/Fall Fest.

The purpose of the RESOURCE FAIR is to educate the community on the resources, services, and information that are available to them.

There will also be a FALL FEST with food, fun games and prizes for the children.

The event will be October 24, 2019 at the Old Elementary School at 214 Nacogdoches Street in Center, Texas from 5 PM until 7 PM.

Tri-County Head Start Fall Fest, Resource Fair

October 2, 2019 - Tri-County Head Start invites the entire Shelby County community to participate in their annual Resource Fair/Fall Fest. The purpose of the Resource Fair is to educate the community on the resources, services, and information that are available to them. 

There will also be a Fall Fest with food, fun games and prizes for the children. The event will be October 24, 2019 at the Old Elementary School at 214 Nacogdoches Street in Center, Texas from 5pm until 7pm.

April 30, 2019 - Tri-c Headstart Center Base and Shelby Home Base are now taking applications for the 2019-2020 program year. We accept children 6 weeks to 5 years old after September 1. To complete an application you will need your child's birth certificate, insurance card, WIC card (If Applicable), shot record and proof of income (W2, Tax return, SSI/SSD award letter, check stubs, etc.).
