April 24, 2017 - The community is invited to this year's final Campus Education Improvement Council (CEIC) meeting of Center Middle School Tuesday, April 25 at 5:15 in the CMS library.  The committee will be sharing Title I parent information and the HB 5 Survey.

April 21, 2017 - Shelby County Sheriff's Office investigator Del Birdwell spoke to Mrs. Penick's Forensic Science classes at CHS today, April 21, 2017.

He explained the details of crime scene processing, including presumptive drug testing and testing for gunshot residue.

April 18, 2017 - Center Independent School District is excited to announce the establishment of their new campus, Roughrider Academy.

Roughrider Academy is an academic school providing a flexed, self-paced curriculum for students in secondary education. The school is not a disciplinary measure but instead an avenue for students who excel in a non-traditional setting. Roughrider Academy, which will originate and locate itself on the Center High School Campus, will employ a certified faculty and team.
