Octaxious Evans selected to play in TABC 4-A All-State Game By CHS Junior, Alberto Huichapa
April 24, 2017 - Senior Octaxious Evans was selected by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches to play at the TABC All-Star Game in San Antonio on May 19.

He explained the details of crime scene processing, including presumptive drug testing and testing for gunshot residue.
April 18, 2017 - Center Independent School District is now accepting applications for the new campus, Roughrider Academy. Applications are available at the CHS front office.
Roughrider Academy is an academic school providing a flexed, self-paced curriculum for students in secondary education. The school is not a disciplinary measure but instead an avenue for students who excel in a non-traditional setting. Roughrider Academy, which will originate and locate itself on the Center High School Campus, will employ a certified faculty and team.

March 29, 2017 - Senior Class BBQ Fundraiser benefiting senior trip to Pine Cove Youth Camp Thursday, April 13th. Orders will be delivered around 10 a.m. Drive-up orders will be available from 11:00 to 12:00 until sold out in the NAPA parking lot.
Cost is $7 a meal - bbq sandwich, chips, cookies & water.
Pre-order sign-ups are encouraged, and order forms are available at most Center businesses.
CISD faculty and staff can order from the front offices of district campuses.
