City of Tenaha Rescinds Boil Water Notice

February 9, 2024 - On 2/5/24, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Tenaha public water system, 2100002, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

N.E.W. Water System Rescinds Boil Water Notice

February 6, 2024 - The water on N.E.W. WSC no longer requires boiling.

On January 31, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the N.E.W. Water Supply, #2030034, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

February 5, 2024 - If you would like to vote by mail for any elections this year, now is the time to start calling our office to request an application.

Timpson ISD Advises All Clear After School Lockdown

January 30, 2024 - At 3:23pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Timpson ISD posted on their Facebook page, "Timpson ISD was made aware of a potential situation in the area and went into a complete lockdown in a matter of seconds. The lockdown lasted for less than 10 minutes. At this time there is no threat to any Timpson ISD campus."
