April 5, 2017 - Help full fill the growing need for food boxes and join with Shelby County Outreach Ministries by donating each month the selected "Food of the Month." For the month of April, the highlighted food is dried beans, rice (in bag), and pasta!

March 23, 2017 - Let the bidding begin - Fun for Funds benefit auction is Tuesday, March 28th from 6pm until 9pm!

The auction will be view-able online via a live webcast at funforfunds.org! Those wanting to bid can log onto www.funforfunds.org to register and participate in the live auction. Early bidding opens Friday, March 24th. The event will also be broadcast live on television via Suddenlink Cable Channel 2.

March 13, 2017 - The Shelby County Commissioners approved a DOT drug testing agreement for 2017 with Compliance Management, LLC at their meeting held on Monday, March 13, 2017.

The subject of DOT drug testing has been up for discussion at Commissioners' Court since the middle of 2016 and at the last meeting held February 27, 2017 Roscoe McSwain, Commissioner Precinct 1, questioned who would receive the drug testing report. During that same meeting Ann Blackwell, Shelby County Treasurer, indicated it appeared a medical professional may need to be designated.
