September 22, 2015 - Several area teams are ranked in the top 10 in this week's smoaky.com East Texas Top 10 polls. Henderson, at 4-0, occupies the #1 spot in Class 4A Division 1, but the Carthage Bulldogs (3-1) have moved into the #5 spot after their win over Gladewater.

Unbeaten  Gilmer still sits at #1 in Class 4A Division 2, but the Center RoughRiders are up to #3 on the strength of their win over Jasper.

September 18, 2015 - Despite being in the lead at half-time, Center JV falls to Jasper with a 2-point loss, Center 30, Jasper 32.

The game got off to a quick start with Center receiving the kick-off and driving the length of the field scoring on a 15-yard pass from Clay Snider to Jamarh Johnson. The extra point attempt by Raul Lara was good and Center takes the lead 7 to 0.
