October 21, 2015 - Due to excessive rain and potential severe weather forecasted in the NE Texas area for Friday and Saturday the Varsity football game will be moved to Thursday October 22nd at 7PM in Atlanta.
As a result of this schedule change all subvarsity games (7th/8th/9th/JV) will be cancelled for this week. Please note the start time thursday is 30 min earlier than the Friday start time. We apologize for any inconvienence.
October 19, 2015 - Both the boys and girls Cross Country teams advanced past District to compete at Regionals.
In the girls division, Kiki Osby won the Individual Gold Medal, Jakyra Ross won the Individual Silver Medal, and Brittney Risinger, Jasmine Osby, and Maryanna Mendoza made up the rest of the Lady Dragon team who finished in team competition as District Runner Up.
Lady Bear Volleyball
The Lady Bear Volleyball Team defeated Overton on Tuesday night in four games 25-20; 25-22; 18-25; 25-19. Congrats to the Lady Bears. Playoff and t-shirt information will be coming soon. October 16, 2015 - The Joaquin ISD Cross Country team participated at the District Meet in New Summerfield on Wednesday, October 14th. Carlos Galan and Day'za Lane, both members of the High School team, advanced to the Regional Meet. Carlos placed 3rd and Day'za placed 6th. They will compete at the Regional Meet in Huntsville on October 26th.
October 16, 2015 - The entire CHS Varsity boys cross country team took 7 of the 10 qualifying spots for the regional meet. Girls Cross Country contestant, Illiana Rojas, placed 7th and qualified individually.
October 12, 2015 - The Friday, October 16, 2015 game between the Tenaha Tigers and the Texas Association of Christian Homeschool scheduled in Plano at 7:00 pm has been canceled per Mr. Tyner, Superintendent of Schools.
October 12, 2015 - Classic winners third place Frank and Selvin Cartwright, second place and day two big bass, Cody Barton and Jacob Permenter, Classic Champions John Olive and Jason Wells, and kneeling Day one big bass David Koonce.
