Tenaha Tiger Football 2022 Updated Schedule

August 5, 2022 - The Tenaha Tiger Football season begins with a scrimmages against Hemphill on August 12, 2022 at 5pm JV and 6:30pm V in Hemphill. Homecoming is schedule is at 7pm Saturday, October 15th against Alto and district games begin October 7th with Price Carlisle at home.

Joaquin ISD 2022 Football Schedule; Logansport Scrimmage Rescheduled

July 28, 2022 - Joaquin's scrimmage against Logansport has been moved to Thursday, August 18th at 6pm.

June 30, 2022 - The Joaquin Rams Football season begins with a scrimmage against Harleton, in Harleton, for both Varsity and JV on August 12, 2022 at 6pm at home.

The first non-district game for Varsity will be against Arp in Ram Stadium on August 26, starting at 7pm. Homecoming is scheduled for September 10 against Tenaha.

Shelby County Schools Enduring Heat as Teams Get Closer to 2022 Football Season

All five Shelby County high school football teams will begin preparing for the 2022 football season next week. August 1^st will mark the first day teams are allowed to conduct non-contact conditioning drills.

Martial Arts Students Compete in LA Governor Games

July 21, 2022 - In June 2022 Students from Self Defense America went to Shreveport, LA to compete in the LA Governor Games. The events for this tournament were Forms (pre arranged fight in all directions), Sparring, Chambara (padded sword fighting), Weapon Forms, and Grappling.

Joaquin Baseball Texas 6U South Champions

July 12, 2022 - These boys were able to be undefeated in the District tournament and the Regional tournament to become the Texas 6U South champions. They traveled this past weekend to Longview to compete against the Texas North champions. They fell short in game one but came ready to play.

Tuesday saw various extracurricular activities sharpening their skillsets at Centers Roughriders Stadium. Among programs holding practices and camps where High School Football, Band, and pre-high school football age players. Coaches and drill instructors were spotted giving fundamental instructions on basic techniques and proper form.
