March 21, 2022 - Center High School hosted both Junior Varisty and Varsity level tournaments this past week winning overall 8 first place medals and 5 second place medals.
The Junior Varisty tournament hosted 8 schools on Tuesday, March 15 and the results are as follows:
Boys Singles:
John Ford - 1st place!!
Wade Collard - 4th place
Ayden Smith - won consolation

March 17, 2022 - Three Center ISD Lady Roughriders are off to compete in State competitions!
UIL Speech and Debate Team
The Cross Examination (CX) team of Nathali Abella Hernandez and Kaylee Cox will attend the state contest in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18 after placing second at district in February, with Nathali being named Top Speaker.
The Joaquin Rams varsity baseball team defeated the visiting Woden Eagles 11-1 during a District 23 2A conference game on Thursday. The game was originally planned for Tuesday but was moved due to inclement weather.
March 15, 2022 - Self Defense America held a grappling seminar on Saturday. The seminar was held to prepare the students for a tournament to be held in Shreveport.
March 15, 2022 - Students at Self Defense America in Center TX come from surrounding communities. Students are required to learn a set of techniques in striking, blocking, kicking, proper stances, Self Defense and forms (Kata). Each passed their exam and received their new techniques, forms, certification and new belt.
On March 1, 2022 the JV tennis team travelled to Whitehouse and had a long day with 16 schools and only two sites. Top finishers include the following:
Girls singles: Gracie Boyd - 1st place
Mixed doubles: John Ford / Chloe Rachal - 2nd place
Mixed doubles: Luke Fausett / Amanda Lopez - consolation medalist
Boys doubles: Charlie Corbell / Ryan Arndt - consolation medalist
