Joaquin Football hosts Logansport for Final Preseason Scrimmage

On Thursday Joaquin High School's Rams football program hosted the Logansport Tigers for varsity and junior varsity preseason scimmages. JV line-of-scrimmage action started the day with each school's team taking turns running their offense for set amounts of plays. The schools got a lot of needed work in but neither team was able to score.

Tenaha Varsity Football Scrimmage Changes to Away Game

August 19, 2021 - Tenaha's varsity football scrimmage game against New Diana has been moved to an away game in New Diana. Game starts at 6 pm.

Shelbyville MS Volleyball to Scrimmage Center on Saturday

August 19, 2021 - Shelbyville Middle School Volleyball will have a scrimmage with Center on Saturday, August 21 starting at 10am at Shelbyville.

August 18, 2021 - The Center Riders vs Hemphill Football Scrimmage scheduled for tomorrow, August 19, 2021, will be at the Roughrider Stadium. Starting time is 5PM!

August 18, 2021 - Shelbyville Dragons JH volleyball scrimmage at Waskom has been cancelled for Saturday, August 21.

Lady Rider Volleyball Team Loses in 3 Close Sets

August 18, 2021 - The Center Lady Rider Volleyball team played last night, August 17, and lost in three close sets to Elysian Fields.

Joaquin Athletic Booster Club Hosts Meet The Rams

August 16, 2021 - Meet the Rams will be held on August 19th at 6:30pm on the football field prior to Battle on the Border which will begin at 7pm.

The Joaquin Athletic Booster Club will be taking the gate and it will be $5 for everyone school aged and older.

We are looking forward to a great football season. Go RAMS!

Joaquin Hosts Tenaha in First Scrimmage

The Tenaha Tigers varsity football team traveled to Joaquin on Friday to face the Rams in a preseason scrimmage. Each team took turns on possessions in order to get in much needed work both offenseively and defensively. Temperatures were in the mid 90's reulting in frequent water breaks.

The practice session ended with a time-metered quarter which ended with the Rams leading 12-0.

2021 Tenaha Tiger JH Football Schedule

August 11, 2021 - The Tenaha Tigers JH Football season begins against Brook Hill on September 9, 2021 at 5pm at Brook Hill.

Lady Riders Volleyball Falls 2-3 Against San Augustine

August 11, 2021 - The Center Lady Rider Volleyball team played last night, August 10, against San Augustine. Center won the first set with a score of 25-17. San Augustine evened the score by taking the second set 22-25.

The rest of the sets continued to be a back and forth until the 5th set when San Augustine pulled out the final win giving them a 3 to 2 victory.
