Lady Dragon Volleyball Wins Over Leverett's Chapel

September 15, 2021 - Shelbyville's Lady Dragon volleyball team won against Leverett's Chapel in four sets in an away game on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Shelbyville fell short on the first set 19-25 but came back with a strong won on the second set 25-8. Once the Dragons got the win on the second set they continued to dominate by winning the third 25-14 and fourth 25-16 for the overall victory.

Center Lady Riders Volleyball Takes Win Over Garrison

September 15, 2021 - On Friday, September 10th, the Rider won in five sets against Garrison. Center lost the first set in a close matchup 21-25 but then came back to win the second set strong 25-14. Center took the led by winning the third set 25-20. Garrison came back in the fourth set for the win 20-25 to tied up the game.

For the tie breaker Center got a two point led at 21-19 for the win!

Center Lady Riders Volleyball Falls to Grace

September 8, 2021 - On Tuesday, September 7, the Rider hosted Grace and lost in five sets. Center fought hard but lost the first set in a close matchup 22-25 but then came back to win the second set strong 25-15. Grace came back in the third set for the win 19-25 and took back the lead. Center didn't give up and tied the sets again by winning the fourth 25-21.

Center felt a hard loss in the fifth set 3-15 to end the match with Grace taking the win.

Center Lady Riders Volleyball Competes in Marshall Tournament

September 8, 2021 - The Center Lady Rider Volleyball team played September 3rd and 4th in a tournament in Marshall. Center had two wins against Carthage JV and Winona. They fell to Pine Tree, Redwater, Henderson, and Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill.

September 8, 2021 - The Shelbyville Dragons will not have a JV football game this week. Junior High will scrimmage Waskom at home on Thursday, September 9. 7th grade will start at 5pm followed by the 8th grade.

Lady Dragon Volleyball Team Victorious Against Hemphill

September 8, 2021 - Shelbyville's Lady Dragon volleyball team had a decisive victory over Hemphill in three sets at home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Shelbyville won the first set 25-6, second set 25-3, and the final set 25-11 ending the need for more play.

Player statistics include Makayja Horton with 9 kills, 5 digs, and 7 aces; Kiana Bennett had 7 kills and 4 digs; and Kate Lawson had 25 assists and 2 digs.
