January 12, 2022 - The Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to an RV on fire at the intersection of FM 139 and County Road 3385 at 12:18am on Wednesday, January 12, 2021.
A few minutes later the JVFD was paged again and informed that the fire had spread to the RV owners truck and the nearby woods.
Once on the scene the JVFD put out the blaze with the help from DeSoto Fire District #1.
The owner of the RV escaped the fire safety with his dog, but his truck and RV were both total losses.
