March 24, 2022 - Many in the Tenaha community are protesting the recent departure of Tenaha ISD basketball coach Kadrian Bryant, following the non-renewal of his contract, and Superintendent Linda Jacobs, after her resignation.

Where a group of protesters were gathered on Thursday, March 24, 2022, community members Desmond Steadman and Aubrey McClure spoke out about their concerns and outrage over the recent turn of events.

Schools generally are limited on what they may discuss publicly about issues of personnel; yet, this can leave members of the community without answers.

"My main thing is how they forced coach Bryant to resign and told him to get your kids and get out of the school," said McClure.

To Steadman's knowledge Bryant has been barred from the school grounds and hasn't done anything to merit that restriction.

The protesters are seeking for Bryant to get his job back.
