April 1, 2022 - Josh Ritter was appointed Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4 during the Commissioners Court meeting held Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
Following an executive session, during which Ritter was interviewed by commissioners, Judge Allison Harbison described the county has been working on appointing a Justice of the Peace for PRecinct 4 to fulfill the remainder of Judge Jackie Kirkwood's term following his passing.
A motion carried by the commissioners to appoint Josh Ritter to the position of Justice of the Peace for the remainder of Judge Kirkwood's term which ends December 31, 2022.
