April 26, 2023 - A pursuit involving Center Police Department officers resulted in the pursued vehicle crashing and the driver remains at large.
According to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), DPS Troopers are investigating a single-vehicle crash, at the intersection of County Road 3360 and County Road 3341, that occurred Wednesday morning, April 26, 2023.

The preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 2:30am, a 2004 Kia Optima was traveling west on County Road 3360. It is reported that the driver was actively fleeing from law enforcement and struck a gate at the intersection of County Road 3341.
