April 22, 2024 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday, in Center, Tx. The April Challenge was "Landscapes" featuring photos submitted by members with the main focal point being Sky Activities. Photos with the sky, clouds, rain, snow sunrises or sunsets being the main feature in the photo. There was a workshop presented on Animal/Pet Photography Tips and Techniques in preparation for the August Challenge of Pets/Animals.
The favorite photos for the April Challenge were voted on by club members and the Favorites are:
1st Place Favorite: "In the Heat of the Night" by Bobbie Jean Wood
2nd Place Favorite (Tie): "Counting Clouds" by Debra Cockrell
2nd Place Favorite (Tie): "After the Storm by Billie Haggard Jones
