April 13, 2026 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society (PWPS) will hold its monthly meeting this Saturday, April 18, from 9am to 12 noon at the First Methodist Church, 211 Porter Street, Center, Texas.

This month’s challenge will feature member submissions for "Pattern Addiction," and there will also be a workshop on photographing animals.

If you have an interest in photography, please make plans to attend. Visitors are always welcome.

March 18, 2026 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society (PWPS) will be holding its regular monthly meeting this Saturday, March 21, from 9am to 12 noon at the First Methodist Church, 211 Cora Street, Center, Texas.

The March Challenge focuses on the "Rule of Thirds" photography technique. Additionally, I will be presenting a workshop titled "Pattern Addiction," which explores celebrating patterns, repeating shapes, lines, and textures.

February 18, 2026 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will hold its monthly meeting this Saturday, February 21, from 9am to 12 noon at the First Methodist Church, 211 Cora Street, Center, Texas.

The monthly photo challenge is "The Clouds." Club members are invited to submit their cloud photos for discussion and for the "Favorite Photo of the Month" vote.

November 13, 2025 - Due to family illness, the Piney Woods Photographic Society's November meeting has been cancelled. I hope that everyone will be able to attend the December meeting/party.

August 21, 2025 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their August meeting this past Saturday at the First Methodist Church in Center, Texas. The August Challenge was "Still Life Minimalism" There was also a workshop presented on Night Photography in preparation for the September challenge.
