October 11, 2023 - If you submitted photos in the photography exhibit as an individual, and did not pick them up, they are at the chamber office. Please try to get them asap. September 19, 2023 - The Piney Woods PhotographicSociety held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday at the First Methodist Church, Center, Texas. The September Challenge was Stained Glass where members were to photograph stained glass and could submit up to 3 photos for favorite votes and discussion.

September 5, 2023 - The East Texas Poultry Festival Open Photography Show deadline is Saturday, September 16, 2023. Entries will be accepted at the First Methodist Church Basement, 211 Porter St., Center, Tx. from 9am - 12pm. 

The Pineywoods Photographic Society will be on hand to assist with accepting entries. Club members will be available to assist anyone needing help with mounting entries.  

August 15, 2023 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will hold their regular monthly meeting this Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 9am - 12 noon at the First Methodist Church, 211 Porter St., Center, Texas. The workshop presentation will be on Photographing Stained Glass and the monthly challenge is Photographing Moving Water. Members can submit up to 3 photos for voting and discussion.

July 13, 2023 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will be holding their regular monthly meeting this Saturday, July, 15, 2023 at the First Methodist Church, 211 Porter Street, Center, Texas from 9am to 12 noon. Visitors are always welcome to attend.

The July Challenge is "Night Photography."  Members can submit up to three photos of their choosing having taken it a night. There will also be a workshop submitted on How to Photograph Moving Water.
