Piney Woods Photographic Society June Meeting

June 13, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will be holding their regular monthly meeting this upcoming Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the First United Methodist Church, Center, Texas. Members and guests are encouraged to attend and enjoy a great time with others who share your passion for photography. Follow our Facebook page to learn more about the PWPS club/meetings. Piney Woods Photographic Society May Challenge Winners

May 23, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society (PWPS) held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday. There was a workshop given by Billie Jones on how to photograph motion and post processing your photographs. If you are interested in learning more about how to take a better photograph or just want to associate with others who share your passion of photography, join the PWPS for their their next meeting in June. Always lots of fun with discussions on cameras, photographs, post processing, field trips, etc.

Piney Woods Photographic Society Workshop on Photographing Motion Blur

May 17, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will be holding their regular monthly meeting this Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, 211 Cora St., Center, TX., from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. There will be a workshop on photographing motion blur in preparation for next month's challenge, along with tips on how to edit/process your photographs. The May Challenge is "Patterns & Leading Lines" where club members have submitted photographs for discussion and favorite voting.

Piney Woods Photographic Society April Meeting This Saturday

April 11, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will hold their regular monthly meeting this Saturday, April 16 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, 211 Cora St., Center, Texas. The meeting will be from 9 a.m. - 12:00 noon. All members and visitors are invited to attend.

PWPS March Meeting; “Black and White” Challenge

March 14, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will be holding their regular monthly meeting Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 211 Cora St., Center, TX. There will be a workshop on Post Processing your photos in Lightroom and the March Challenge will be "Black and White". These photos, submitted by club members for voting and discussion will cover a wide category of black and white photos.

February 21, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society (PWPS) held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday in Center, Texas. There was a workshop presented by Billie F. Jones on "Black and White Photography" in preparation for next month's photo challenge. The February Challenge included photographs submitted by members for voting on Favorites and discussions.

February 15, 2022 - The PWPS will be holding their regular monthly meeting Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, 211 Porter Street, Center, Texas from 9am to 12 noon. There will be a workshop on how to "Black and White Photography" and the monthly challenge will be "Macro Photography."  

Piney Woods Photographic Society Announces January Challenge Favorites

January 19, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their first meeting for the 2022 season this past Saturday. There was a workshop on "Depth of Field" presented by Billie Jones and the January Challenge was "Photographer's Choice.” These were photographs submitted by club members for critique and  voting by members with suggestions on how to make the photo better.
