August 25, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society announces their August monthly challenge "Creatures" winners. Members voted online and the results were a three-way tie for first place.

Piney Woods Photographic Society Announces "Reflections" Challenge Winners

July 18, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their July meeting this past Saturday. There was an informative workshop presented on "How to Photograph Animals." There was also a monthly challenge "Reflections" with photos submitted by members showing a reflection as the main subject.

Piney Woods Photographic Society Announces June Challenge Favorites

June 20, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society held their June meeting this past Saturday at the FUMC in Center, Texas. There was an continuing lesson on post processing your photographs and also a workshop on photographing beautiful or unique reflections. Each month's workshop is a lesson on how to photograph next month's challenge. If either of these catch your interest, please feel free to attend our next meeting, the third Saturday in July. Visitors are alway welcome to attend.

Piney Woods Photographic Society May Challenge Winners

May 23, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society (PWPS) held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday. There was a workshop given by Billie Jones on how to photograph motion and post processing your photographs. If you are interested in learning more about how to take a better photograph or just want to associate with others who share your passion of photography, join the PWPS for their their next meeting in June. Always lots of fun with discussions on cameras, photographs, post processing, field trips, etc.

Piney Woods Photographic Society Workshop on Photographing Motion Blur

May 17, 2022 - The Piney Woods Photographic Society will be holding their regular monthly meeting this Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, 211 Cora St., Center, TX., from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. There will be a workshop on photographing motion blur in preparation for next month's challenge, along with tips on how to edit/process your photographs. The May Challenge is "Patterns & Leading Lines" where club members have submitted photographs for discussion and favorite voting.
