July 16, 2024 - Why did the chicken cross the road? To run in the 2024 East Texas Poultry Festival Chicken Trot, sponsored by Axley & Rode on Saturday, October 5th at Portacool Park. The 5K Chicken Trot will start at 8am. It is always a fun event, with proceeds going to the Center Rotary Club. Register now, and join the fun!
The Early Bird Registration fee for the 5K is $25, if you register before September 1st. Registration after September 1st will be $30. Registration includes a tee shirt and an entrance button to the 48th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, good for all three days. You can register on runsignup.com or contact the Chamber of Commerce.
