August 23, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 28th day of August, 2024 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve weekly expenses.
2. Approve payroll.
3. Public comments on agenda item.
4. Discuss and possibly approve change order to scope of work on the 2nd floor courtroom renovation.
5. Discuss and possibly approve payment to Paul Hagler for 2nd floor courtroom renovation for additional work done relating to change order to scope of work on the second-floor renovation.
6. Open sealed bids for Sheriff Office vehicles, review and possibly award bid.
7. Consider request to possibly close County Road 4188.
8. Discuss and possibly designate 2 members to represent Shelby County on the DETCOG Board of Directors.
9. Commissioners’ Court Report: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
