September 20, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 25th day of September, 2024 at 9:30 in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve weekly expenses.
2. Approve payroll.
3. Public comments on Agenda item.
4. Brad Nachman to address the Court regarding selling dates of Fireworks within the County.
5. Discuss and possibly accept a monetary donation from the Texas Extension Education Association as presented by Kay Ross.
6. Discuss and possibly Adopt County Holidays for 2025.
7. Discuss and possibly approve the purchase of (3) AED units (1) for each floor of the Shelby County Courthouse to be purchased from contingency funds.
8. Discuss and possibly set the Regular Term of the Commissioners’ Court as the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:30 A.M. on the 2nd Floor Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse.
9. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
