December 27, 2024 - The “Soft Opening” for Switch Tie Game Room, located inside Tie and Timber Lodging & Event Center, 397 Jacob Street downtown Timpson will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1pm.
This celebratory event marks the opening of one of the phases that Tie and Timber will bring to Timpson and East Texas. The new “Switch Tie” game room will consist of pool tables, arcade classics, air hockey and other recreational games. All the game room equipment is “coin operated”; the TouchTone online juke box can be played with cash, coins or by downloading an app to pay with credit card. This will be an entertainment spot for the community featuring game room hours, competition tournaments, public and private events. Everyone is invited to come in for some friendly pool competition or test your ability at arcade and other games. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
For the opening, we will also have miniature golf, corn hole, ping pong, and other games set up in the venue at no charge for the day.
A food truck will be available starting at lunch continuing through the afternoon as long as it stays busy. The food truck will be selling hamburgers and wings. The café will be open for a place to sit and eat “only.” Everyone is invited to come welcome the new game room to our community.
