March 26, 2025 - The bands from Shelby County High School are all set to show off their skills at the 2025 UIL Region 21 Concert and Sightreading Contest. Here’s the lineup:
For the 2A bands:
- On Tuesday, April 1st, 2025:
- Tenaha Tiger Band takes the stage at 1:50 PM.
- Timpson Bear Band hits it at 2:15 PM. - On Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025:
- Shelbyville Dragon Band performs at 1:25 PM.
These performances will take place at Troup High School, located at 927 Arp Drive, Troup, TX 75789.
For the 4A bands:
- On Thursday, April 3rd, 2025:
- Center Roughrider Concert Band plays at 9:55 AM.
- Center Roughrider Symphonic Band follows up at 12:35 PM. - On Friday, April 4th, 2025:
- Center Roughrider Wind Ensemble is set for 2:50 PM.
These performances will be held at Bullard High School, 1426 S Houston St, Bullard, TX 75757.
- Special note for Wednesday, April 9th, 2025:
- Joaquin Ram Band will perform at 9:30 AM. Since the 2A contest falls on their spring break for their district, they’ll be joining the 5A-6A contest at Whitehouse High School. The address is 901 E Main St, Whitehouse, TX 75791.
