April 4, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 9th day of April, 2025 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of: March 5th Special Meeting, March 12th Regular Meeting, March 19th Special Meeting and March 26th Special Meeting.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Approve and pay current payroll.
4. Approve Officers Report.
5. Public comments on Agenda item.
6. Discuss and possibly approve a Proclamation declaring Texas Soil and Water Stewardship week for the week of April 27th – May 4th, 2025.
7. Record Racial Profiling Report for Shelby Co. Sheriff’s Office.
8. Record Racial Profiling Report for Constable PCT 1 Zack Warr.
9. Record Racial Profiling Report for Constable PCT 2 Jamie Hagler.
10. Discuss and possibly approve the purchase of two (2) new vehicles for the Sheriff’s Department of Shelby County, in substitution for two (2) vehicles previously approved for purchase by the Commissioners’ Court on September 4, 2024 from San Augustine Motor Company, who were unable to deliver said vehicles; said vehicles to be purchased from Center Motor Company in Center, Texas under the provisions of Section 262.024 of the Texas Local Government Code necessary to preserve and protect the public health and safety of the residents of Shelby County, Texas.
