May 22, 2025 - The City Council of Joaquin will meet for a Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 5:30pm at Joaquin Volunteer Fire Dept located at 136 Steve Hughes Drive, Joaquin, Texas. The following items are on the agenda for appropriate action:

15. Discuss and take possible action: Discuss repair or replace lighting in Community Center.
16. Discuss and take possible action: Adopt Resolution 05272025 Opiod Abatement Resolution
17. Discuss and take possible action: Water Purchase Contract with the Paxton Jackson Water.
18. Discuss and take possible action: The rules for competitive bidding on contract for operator.
19. Discuss and take possible action: Approve quote for Workers Compensation Insurance Renewal.
20. Discuss and take possible action: Approve quote for new Gas Service tools.
21. Discuss and take possible action: Approve quote for replacement of 700’ waterline on Saddle St.
22. Executive Session: Consider entering executive session personnel Matters with possible action related to Personnel Reviews thereto upon reconvening in open session in accordance with Government Code Section 551.074. Texas Government Code, Section 551.074: Personnel Matters. Executive session pursuant to Section 551.074, Texas Government Code for the purpose of reviewing employee annual evaluations and pay rates.
23. Council reconvenes and possible action: Possible actions on matters discussed in executive session.
