May 30, 2026 - Shelby County Memorial VFW Post 8904 have spent a portion of the day on Saturday, May 30, 2026, to distribute Buddy Poppies at Walmart on Hurst Street.
The post receives donations that are used to take care of the unexpected needs of Shelby County Veterans, and to ensure they receive the support they deserve.
Donations can also be mailed directly to P.O. Box 53, Center, Texas 75935.
