June 2, 2026 - Good Morning! It’s Tuesday, June 2.
The first week in June, the first week of summer, many churches have a special event for children. For some it may be a sports themed camp or maybe a music camp, but for most it’s Vacation Bible School. I grew up going to Vacation Bible School, perhaps you did too. I loved VBS - the songs, the games, the crafts, the snacks. And every day we’d memorize another Bible verse. And I’d love that too. Here’s some verses that I love.
- Matthew 11:28 - Come unto me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 - If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old is gone, the new has come.
- Romans 8:28 - And God works all things for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
- Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are set on You, because they trust in You.
- I Peter 5:7 - Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
