September 9, 2026 - The Shelby County Commissioners have lifted the burn ban during court held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
It is encoursged that anyone planning to burn let your volunteer fire department know, and ask that they be on standby.
Commissioner Tom Bellmyer commented there is a lot of opportunity for common sense burning.
Caution when burning is advised.
