October 22, 2026 - Congratulations to Juniors Haven Allen and Jason Ortiz as they qualified for the Region III XC Championships to represent District 23-AA as top 10 finishers at the district meet. Both set season best times last Wednesday, October 14 at the District Meet. They will compete at Kate Barr-Ross Park hosted by Sam Houston State University on Monday, October 26, with Haven and the girls will run at 9:30am, and Jason and the boys following for their race at 10:15am.
The Top 4 teams, then top 10 individual times will qualify for the State Meet in Round Rock, TX on Friday, November 6. Good luck Dragons as you represent Shelbyville next week.
