Joaquin received the opening kickoff - starting midfield. It did not take the Rams long to find their way into the endzone putting them first on the scoreboard; the two-point conversion gave them an early 8-0 lead. On the Bear’s first drive, #22 C’Najai Henderson carried the ball for a 15-yard gain. However, a turnover on downs near the Ram’s 35-yard line ended their chance of tying up the game. In two separate runs, Joaquin’s Cooper Bragg carried the ball down to Timpson’s 15-yard line. The Rams’ offensive line pushed through the defensive line for another touchdown, but Timpson read the two-point conversion attempt by Bragg and stopped him short; Joaquin’s lead extended to 14-0 with 2:34 left in the 1st quarter. Again, Timpson had a turnover on downs at the top of the 2nd quarter. Joaquin scored with a two-point conversion again, now leading 22-0 at the 9:00 mark.

On Timpson’s next drive at Joaquin’s 32-yard line, QB Jaydence Miles finds Albert Parker Jr. who makes it to the 2-yard line. C'Najai Henderson rushed in for the touchdown. Running the same play, the two-point conversion was good. Timpson is finally on the scoreboard 22-8 with 5:44 remaining in the half. Timpson’s onside kick might have moved 10-yards, putting the Rams just shy of midfield in Timpson territory. An unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against the Bears moved the Rams down to the 26-yard line. At first and goal, QB fumbles the ball but recovers for a 2-yard loss and a false start penalty pushes them back to the 17 yard line. Trent Runnells hands off to Cooper Bragg for a rushing touchdown, his third of the night. Two-point conversion was good; score of 30-8 with less than 2 minutes left in the half.

Joaquin starts the next drive with an onside kick, which they recover at the 42-yard line, but Jamichael Page and Brecken Kimbro stop the Rams from advancing. On 3rd down, the Rams fumble the ball and Timpson’s Luke Fields. Fields was brought down at the 24-yard line. An overthrown pass intended for Parker Jr. was intercepted at the 3-yard line by Cooper Bragg; Joaquin let the clock run out at the half to keep their lead 30-8.

Timpson’s offense finds their way into the Redzone, but Miles fumbles the ball at the 12-yard line, where Joaquin recovers. On their own 38-yard line, the ball is handed off to Cooper Bragg who is pushed out of bounds near the 20-yard line after a 59-yard gain. Amarian Wilson broke through Timpson’s defensive line for the touchdown rush. Zachary Kelly in for the two-point conversion; the score is now 46-8 right at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Jayden Brown runs the ball from the 40-yard line to the 9-yard line, where he is brought down by Albert Parker Jr. Timpson’s d-line fought hard to stop the Rams from scoring again, but Zachary Kelly prevailed. Leaving only 2:44 in the game, neither team scored. The Joaquin Rams redeemed themselves from last week, 53-8.
