May 13, 2016 - Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports that on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at approximately 11:55 p.m., Shelby County dispatchers received a call of a shooting incident that had occurred at a residence on FM 415 in Timpson.
Blackwell, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies and investigators responded to the residence and found that a Jeffery Hudson had shot a male subject identified as Keith Green upon Green forcibly making entry into Hudson’s residence.
Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Judge Maxie Eaves pronounced Keith Green as deceased on scene and an autopsy was ordered.
No charges have been filed at this time. This case is currently under investigation by Lieutenant Investigator DJ Dickerson and Investigator Kevin Windham.
