June 7, 2016 - Album1, Album2 - The 2016 Shelby County Sheriff's Posse Court was announced on Saturday, June 4 at the Shelby County Expo on State Highway 7 East.
Following a full day of events for the contestants, the winners were announced during dress rehearsals for the Rustler and Roughrider drill teams.
Ann Blackwell, event coordinator, announced each of the contestants and winners of each division. She expressed appreciation to sponsors Terry Bailey and High Roller White Tails, Farmers State Bank, Brookshire Brothers and Hughes Florist.
Through the support of sponsors she let everyone know of a new addition to the competition, "We were able to actually purchase a custom silver crown. This crown will become a traveling crown. Each year now it will be passed down to the next queen," said Blackwell.
Each winner of the Queen, Duchess and Princess division was awarded a saddle.
