Wanda Payne Lackey, 83, of Center, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Don Murphree and Bro. Grant Murphree will officiate. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega, Alabama, with Bro. Jerry Lackey officiating.
Born October 4, 1938, Wanda is the daughter of Elmer D. Payne and Louis Mae McGuire Payne. She loved her flowers, her church (Center Christian Fellowship), and her Alabama Football.

Payne and Louis Mae McGuire Payne; sisters, Charlene Hatadis and Ann McComber; daughter-in-law, Pinky Lackey; son-in-law, Kevin O’Connor; granddaughter, Jessica Creech; sisters-in-law, Diane Payne, Essie Mae Hester, Pearl Jones, and Addie Mae Osburn; and brothers-in-law, James Lackey and Marshall Lackey.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandson: Chris Hurst, Caiden Hickman, Steven Hurst, Chance Lackey, Dee Hickman, Blake Lackey, and Terry Lackey.
