Joaquin Rams Field on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 –
The Joaquin Rams varsity baseball team took a pair of varsity regular season games over the Mount Enterprise Wildcats on Wednesday. The Rams won the first game 19-3 and the second by a 18-2 margin.
The Wildcats scored their only run of Game 1 in the first inning. The Rams bounced back in the bottom of the first with 6 hits and an error which gained them a 7-1 lead. By the end of the second inning JHS was up 12-1. Joaquin added 7 more runs to their tally in the bottom of the third frame and they held MEHS to just two runs in the top of the fourth to earn the win by mercy rule.
The Rams are now 2-1 this season and are next scheduled to participate in the Gary Baseball Tournament being held on March 4-6.
March 3, 2021 - The Joaquin baseball game scheduled to be played today, March 3rd in Gary has been moved to be played at Joaquin with a start time of 5pm.
The start time for this game has been moved up to 5pm. Additionally, it will be a double header as opposed to a single game. Go Rams!

March 1, 2021 - Tickets for Center HS upcoming home Softball/Baseball games will be sold online. Tickets will normally go on sale the day before the game.
The Center High School Lady Rider's Softball will compete against Timpson at home on Tuesday, March 2 at 4:30pm.

March 1, 2021 - Tenaha Junior Hight Track meet is rescheduled to Wednesday, March 3rd in Corrigan.
March 1, 2021 - The Center Middle School Track Meet in Carthage scheduled for today, March 1 has been cancelled.
February 26, 2021 - The remainder of the Joaquin baseball tournament has been cancelled. (Update) The Lady Rams tournament in Longview is cancelled for Friday and Saturday, February 27.
The high school track meet at North Desoto today is currently still on schedule. We will post updates if additional information is received regarding these events.
Timpson High School on Thursday February 25, 2021 -
The Tenaha Tigers varsity basketball team fell to the Garrison Bulldogs by a 58-44 score in a state playoff area elimination game played at Timpson High School, a neutral playoff site.
The game was tied 7-7 midway through the first period but GHS was able to build a 13-9 lead by the end of the first quarter. GHS led 21-17 at halftime.
The biggest swing came when the Bulldogs outscored the Tigers 19-8 during the third quarter and they led 40-25 at the beginning of the fourth stanza.
The Tigers were led by Tre Keggler with 20 points. Brad Reynolds led the Bulldogs with 24 points.
Tenaha ended the season at 12-7. Garrison moves on to the Region III Quarterfinal game next week. Their record stands at 20-2.
February 24, 2021 - Center ISD announces several athletic event changes.
Basketball
Boys Playoffs Round 2 will be tonight (February 24) at 7:30 at Corsicana High School. Will play winner of LBJ-Austin/Gateway College Prep. Go to www.cisd.org/tickets and then scroll down to the bottom.
Track
The track meet that was scheduled for Thursday, February 25 at Center High School has been cancelled.
Tennis (Updated)
The Spring Hill tennis tournament scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 11th due to the forecast.
Powerlifting (Updated)
Powerlifting will be traveling to Sabine NOT Garrison tomorrow, Thursday, February 25.
Softball
Softball will be attending a tournament at Nacogdoches Thursday and Friday, February 25 and 26.
Baseball (Updated)
JV Baseball is not be travelling today, Thursday but JV will travel to Lufkin on Friday, February 26th only. Varsity will travel to Hudson on Thursday and Friday, February 25 and 26.
